Privacy policy

Last updated - August 2026

This is a personal portfolio, not a product. It collects as little as it can get away with, and what it does collect exists only so I can reply to you.

  1. 01

    What is collected

Only what you type into the contact form - your name, email address, subject and message - or what you send directly to aghashahhyder@gmail.com. Nothing is gathered about you automatically beyond the standard request logs kept by the hosting provider.

  2. 02

    How it reaches me

The contact form is delivered by EmailJS, a third-party service that relays the message to my inbox. Their handling of that message is governed by their own privacy policy. There is no database behind this site - submissions are not stored here.

  3. 03

    What it is used for

Replying to you, and nothing else. Your details are not sold, rented, shared or added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

  4. 04

    Cookies and tracking

No advertising or analytics cookies are set. The only thing stored in your browser is a single preference recording whether you chose the light or dark theme, which stays on your device and is never transmitted.

  5. 05

    Third parties

The site is hosted on a static hosting provider, fonts are self-hosted at build time, and the contact form uses EmailJS. Links out to GitHub, LinkedIn, Fiverr and client sites take you to services with their own policies.

  6. 06

    Your rights

Write to aghashahhyder@gmail.com and ask me to delete any message you have sent, and I will remove it from my inbox. If you are in the EU or UK, the usual GDPR rights - access, rectification, erasure, objection - apply and I will honour them.

  7. 07

    Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version history worth keeping for a page this short.
